Projects

Hi everyone, I was wondering what everyone was working on right now or what do you make to sell?

Re: Projects

Not working on anything right now. I am taking a break for a few weeks. During October and November I pitch my white tent and do craft shows every weekend in addition to working a full time job. Now, I need a break.

Re: Projects

I'm also taking a break for the holidays and entertaining the in-laws in sunny Florida.

Last week I finished a print for my best friend's new baby boy. It is of a kangaroo mom and baby snuggling. I drew it in pen, then scanned and colored it digitally. I plan on putting it in my Etsy shop after I give the present to my friend. :)

Re: Projects

I have been forced to break for a few weeks now. We have had horrible sicknesses running ramped through the house. Flu-common cold-strep throat, everything in between! Of course, no one sick with another, had to be one at a time, right? ugh

I have great plans for the first of the year. Have a few projects in mind since I got my new printer for giftmas. My husband, JB, has been making some great bracelets as gifts... time to get some listed!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas

Re: Projects

I'm trying my hand at writing tutorials for working with Kumihimo. I'm just facinated with this craft. I printed my first tutorial on "How to Make a Marudai" a few weeks ago and am now writing a tute on how to use it instead of just weaving on a Kumi-disc. In my Etsy shop I have afew pieces I made with Kumihimo.

Hey, Jewelry by Esta, how are the shows going. Where have you been showing?

I used to do show before the economy tanked and am looking forward to starting up again.

Happy Holiday everyone.

Re: Projects

I do woodcrafts on a scroll saw, and I'm usually pretty busy in December just making Christmas presents. I just finished making what I guess you'd call a face-plate to cover the front of my parents new 42" HDTV; an original concept, so far as I know, but you won't see one on ETSY - it was strictly a one-shot deal.

Now that I'm finished with that project I don't think I'll be doing much of anything for awhile; I've got to sell some of the stuff I've already made!

Re: Projects

I just returned from the cold north visiting family. I'm trying to decide what to make to pick up sales. I had a very slow December. I need to find that one item that will do it!

Re: Projects

I just finished a watercolor of a fish for my brother he's going to get a tattoo of... I probably will make prints of the painting to sell here on etsy, also had a commissioned oil portrait painting for the holidays.

I'd like to get my sales going on this site for the new year.

I have been working on a new wire wrapping technique and made some seahorses and a black swan. They are amazing!

Re: Projects

I am working on a new line of night lights styled after my "Frazzle" pins and I am also exploring the possibility of combining my fused glass cabachons with some vintage jewelry pieces. I'm always open to suggestions.
