The benefit of the pattern site  only happens when you are leading customers from your advertising venues to your etsy shop and you want to reduce the chance of the customer clicking off of your products on to the suggested ones.  With the pattern site, customers brought into your store aren't given "similar products"  to see.    You can also direct to your own domain if you connect one.    That is about all that i see as a benefit of it.

do you mean pattern site have diffrent products listed differ from the etsy store , and  it is good advertizing and clck leading  direction to etsy store traffic

@Sundrench when someone shops on Etsy, Etsy shows a shopper similar items to the one they are looking at/for including competing items. So if I searched something and found it in your shop, similar items to yours also appear below, on the same page as your listing, not neccessarily from your shop. Customers may get distracted, and click out of your shop, and enter someone else's shop item as a result.

You have no competition of that kind, in your own shop on Pattern- only your items are shown. But Etsy doesn't promote your Pattern site- that is up to you, as if it were your own website, not an extention of Etsy. 

As far as promoting in teams on Etsy- search 'Pattern Site' in teams (above left at the very top below the Etsy logo). There are lots of questions and comments in teams about Pattern. Maybe there is a Pattern team, I don't know. Good luck!
