Nothing in Particular Thread

It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular.  It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.

You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.

Bummed because my favorite seller is no longer selling on Etsy and she's not responding to my email. Her handmade products are very unique and special. I'm beside myself - I actually feel very sad,

natalia, in ukraine knitted the sweater for me. it is much better than mattel's version in 1968. has a real button in back. this is as well made as real people sweaters.

I'm sure you read the latest news about teams. This is the final nail in the coffin for teams. I'm hardly on here in any case, my husband has stage 4 terminal lung cancer and that is taking up nearly all my physical and emotional energy. I still frequent Etsy to buy things, but I don't feel like chatting about anything. Just filling you in.

Here is the most pertinent part of the changes which are to begin September 1st: To improve the experience in the new interface and ensure Team Captains follow updated guidelines, we will be deactivating existing Teams by September 1. Captains who wish to continue to run their Team will need to submit an application for consideration. 

The new team space will be available in September, and we encourage you to apply as soon as possible to get access earlier. Please submit your application here if:

• You’re an active Team Captain who wants to continue leading your Team

• You’re an inactive Team Captain who wants to restart your Team

• You lead a Team on another platform and want to bring it to the new interface 

What happens if you don't apply before your Team is deactivated? Don’t worry–you can submit your application any time to start a Team. We’ll continue to review applications on an ongoing and rolling basis. Once you submit the application someone from Etsy will contact the Team Captain directly to advise of any next steps.
