It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular. It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.
You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.
Thoughts?
I'm already retired. You'll like it when you get there. I promise.
Oh! And running around after the kids. Son off to Portugal soon , daughter up North. Me, house sitting (again)
I hate preemptive text.
I typed, hope life is good and it came up with lovers fees! I think it's drunk.
That's okay. I think I got the idea. It does that to you every now and again. I hate it when it makes me sound like an illiterate idiot and I do not catch it on time.
I've been observing many visiting songbirds who are packing up for vacation to hotter destinations over the winter and I'm going back to the doctor again today :( my wheezing has gotten worse.
@9ElizabethStreet Haven't been on here all day until now, kinda giving up now, dead quiet, Sales Fairy can't see me v.v
@9ElizabethStreet - hi!
@Artbesico - hi!
haven't seen you in ages. good to see you.
Hello again ! Shops have been very quiet / then again I haven't been working on them these days !
Will mention that the sales fairy did visit x 1 - but it was a decent enough sale ….. can't complain :)
I just came back from the seeing the doctor once more about my wheezing. I saw a different doctor this time and she actually heard me wheeze this time (thank, God!)
And for the first time ever, my sinuses were x-rayed.
How many here have done that before? My goodness, my head and neck were twisted in ways I never thought possible.
The outcome: my sinuses are normal. But, oh! What it took to find that out.
Now it is thought that my wheezing and throaty cough is due to bad allergies... which is kind of what I was thinking all along. I have been prescribed a new puffer... this one is completely different from the other one that I had. I hope it does the trick. I don't want to have asthma :(
oh and hopefully I will no longer sound like Precious Pup when I laugh:
pigeon, i'm glad your sinuses are normal. sorry you got put through a game of neck twister. ouch. i hope they can help you find out what you are so allergic to. mold is a big one if you spot any. good luck with a new inhaler. hang in there.
@pigeonplumtree Is this puffer better? Does this irritate your throat?
Hoping the new puffer will work well. Sending positive pigeon vibes out for you! :-)
@Artbesico @vlmkpyae @GielDesigns
Thanks for your nice comments.
in a very short time the channel i have been one of 10 mods on for over a year and a half will be gone. so will every other disqus channel. most of us have made or gone to new forums but there are those who will go online tomorrow, next week, and find... the channels are not there. i am sad. we worked very hard on our channel. we had 9,862 followers as of today. 582 threads since last year in late march...
i am sad.
our new forum is great. but i am sad.
@vlmkpyae aww don't be sad = ( You've done very well, you were fast setting up the new site and made the transition go smoothly, well done Sil.
I understand too. It's hard to let go of something that's become warm and fuzzy. :-(
While I was making breakfast this morning, I thought I heard a kitty.
Then I discovered that it was me...
@pigeonplumtree why, were you purring? >.< Must have been a nice meal, what did you make for breakfast? =]
No, I was wheezing. Sometimes I sound like a kitty. :(
sorry to hear that, pigeon. i only had that happen when i had double pneumonia and pleurisy together in 1988. good luck.
Kitty in the kitchen.......good name for a song. Or a book.
