Nothing in Particular Thread

It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular.  It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.

You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.

@SwissZahlerArt . i googled the company. they are full of reports of fraud, of charging people for things who have never heard of them, of doing, 'pulls', of people's credit reports, ruining people's credit scores, etc. no clue where they are getting people's contact info but they are messing around badly. they have sent packages to people that they never ordered and attacked people via their credit card companies. now, we do not have a credit card. they can't get anything via my name. but it sounds like they got a mailing list from somewhere. it would be worse for people who do use mail order catalogues and do have credit cards. if anything arrives from them it will be marked refused. i just hope they were just phishing random addresses. i can't see etsy wanting to be associated with a fraud company like that. i read etsy's privacy policy and it mentions 3 parties via social media. i'm not on social media...

How about a cold or warm compress? I don't really get migraines but they help  with headaches when I'm putting off taking a headache pill

I used to have a cold gel pad, had to get rid of it when the gel inside has gone funny. My face and head have been burning up, eyes are very sore. I used to have this monster headache with eyes burning at work for day. It was a torture, I still had to sit there looking at the computer's screen, one time I saw light flashes and the migraine made me sick in the stomach too. 

I've just taken pain killer tablets after I've had my very late lunch. 

Will try ice cream later, I feel sick in my stomach. You've reminded me to look for something... I think I might have something to put on my head for migraine, bought ages ago, let me go look now...

ice cream will help your mood if not the headache. the headache is from stress.

A guy I used to work with, would put on a pair of sunnies when he felt a migraine coming on.  Maybe that will work for you.

@bloelgwk Thought I had heat pad or something for migraine, nope, found some heat pads for back pain though, from quite some time ago.

i hate leaving bad feedback but i had to. can seller harass me now that i've left it? i have been stressed for days, bad enough i don't trust supply shops on etsy now because of it.

@Artbesico . as i said on the crafts thread, that seller was a drop shipper. i did not give her permission to give out my address to godnose who on amazon to trick me. it arrived late, from amazon not etsy, not marked fragile as i had asked in the shipping notes, no receipt inside, not bubble wrapped as per listing, half assembled, no instructions, and in just a thin mangled cardboard box that was already opened. i convoed her to explain that i was upset and she replied with what reads like a robot wrote it and attached a scan of a return label, which i did not ask for! i asked for an apology, a human apology, not a refund. she merely resent the last sentence of the reply!

i left 1 star feedback. i have only had to do this a very few times on amazon, never on anywhere else. 

i'm asking if she can harass me over it? the woman, or robot, gave my address to an unknown 3rd party amazon seller without my permission! drop shipping should be illegal. too much risk involved. :(

Weird thing this morning. I had 9 different people favour the same item, one hour apart from each other. What are the odds on that happening?

Favourite has a knock-on effect sometimes, when someone put it in their favourite and their followers see it they might favourite it too and it has a chain reaction. That's why back when we had "Promotion" and "Chit Chat" on the old forum, there tended to be more views and more favourites.

We've finally got some good rain going here and the house got all gloomy coz it's so dark outside, so I went to check on stanley - who was totally fine. I hung around downstairs for a bit looking out at all the gorgeous rain, then decided to go back upstairs and of course when I was half way up, the was a massive lightning flash and thunder, so I went back downstairs to check that staney was ok, and he was sitting in his chair looking a bit surprised, then he just went back to sleep

Dunno if stanley thinks he's a person although he seems to think he's the boss - and I'm not so sure he's wrong!

I can't see him lowering himself to human status any time soon.....

@Artbesico  I'm pretty sure it was the weather that surprised him. If the parents are out (which they were) and it's just us in the house I check on him regularly to make sure he's ok so I don't think he'd be surprised by that
