It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular. It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.
You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.
Thoughts?
@bloelgwk boss Stanley XD
Luna, you should use a picture of Stanley for your avi so everyone can see how handsome he is!
I just had an ice cream soda, now I'm cold, put my puffa jacket on and still shivering brrrrrr
ice cream is rarely a way to warm up, art. lol. try some hot tea or coffee or hot chocolate instead?
Piffles! Ice cream tastes better!!
But that's just my 2 cents... which really counts :)
Ps. I have not yet gone for annual ice cream treat yet. Summer is going fast so, I should go soon.
@vlmkpyae I wasn't cold before I ate the ice cream =]
@pigeonplumtree Where do you go have the annual ice cream treat? You only eat ice cream once a year?
Oh, usually Dairy Queen. They have good ice cream and once a year is plenty for me.
Too much ice cream makes too much Pigeon!
@pigeonplumtree I'm eating tooooo much, I need to stop =, {
@Artbesico @bloelgwk @Teddyrose54
I really like watching the British sitcom "Open All Hours Again"
I love the characters. The characters remind me so much of how Coronation Street used be back in the day.
One of them used to be a barmaid at the Rover's years ago. I recognised her.
Anyone else enjoy watching this show?
When keeping up appearances first aired I wasn't keen on it but then they started showing it on sunday afternoons in the early noughties and I always found myself watching it
@pigeonplumtree Yes, I loved open all hours. And have you seen Only fools and horses? That's another good one. Most of those I like are old now and no longer on. Today's humour seems to be more poking fun at people. Humour from years ago, was different.
No. I've never seen Only Fools and Horses, but I'll have to look it up.
Some of the sitcoms I've seen over the years and have become a great fan of are:
@pigeonplumtree Amongst these on your list, I've only watched the rerun of Keeping Up Appearances.
I like to watch the Morecambe and Wise Show, usually at Christmas time.
I also watched the rerun of the Columbo show repeatedly =]
@pigeonplumtree they are all good. I liked the good life. My brother said I was like Margo. Inspector Morse was good too, if you like detectives. Morecambe and Wise were great as well. Always watched them when they were on.
wth is up with this translate to english link on every single post? we are speaking english now!
I know, this is now spacing it out more so back to more scrolling = |
@GielDesigns . i think this site is confused. period. ;)
Bingo!! :-D
'confused' is one of the kinder descriptions of this site!
My new progressives are confusing me... :(
I truly do not understand the science of progressive lenses. The middle part is that part that we can see the clearest. Why can't they just make one lens out of the middle part? Why must I contend with an upper and lower magnification that does piddly-poop?
I'll never get used to wearing them !!!
I hate getting old!
Years ago I let one of those eye people talk me into getting bifocals. I hated them and they eventually just sat in a drawer. Never got used to tilting my head up and down to see through one part of the lens or the other. Now the push is for progressives, and every time they try to push them on me, I refuse. Well, if I couldn't stand the bifocals.... duh?
