It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular. It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.
You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.
Thoughts?
Here is a short youtube video demonstrating what will be happening to you in the coming days:
(sorry, it's in Spanish.)
It's a wet and chilly day here in Derbyshire. Two chi's, one quilt. I can't get a leg in. 😕
stay bundled and have something nice and warm to drink?
It sounds like a lovely day for staying indoors and doing nothing.
It also sounds like a lovely day for eating chocolates and reading a good book.
The sun is coming out now. The chi's have stirred. I'm throwing water at the wimdow, in the hope they go back under the quilt and I don't have to go out.
I keep thinking about Mooning Bunnies. Great name for a line in clothes.
Awful about your neighbours @vlmkpyae . I so feel for that poor old man and his dog. Will someone take them in? I hope so.
he came around a few months back to say hi. he and the dog were staying with some friend, at least as a temp. until he could find a place.
i agree about mooning bunnies being a great name for clothing... or a punk rock band. ;)
I'm beginning to think my bunny is a female and not a male. I think she may be expecting. That makes me very nervous.
Why do you think so? Has he/she grown bigger since you first noticed him/her? @pigeonplumtree
She is sleeping a lot and I mean a lot. She stretches out on the ground like a sausage.
These bunnies are primarily nocturnal, but I have never seen one sleep as much as this one has.
Could she/he be older and needing their Zzzzs? Time will tell!
Bunnies don't do well over here either and it is painful to watch. We have 3 large hunting dogs (though we don't hunt). But they do! We fenced in two acres a few years ago, and slowly the ground critters have seemed to have moved on. It was awful earlier. Will not relay the details. Similar to your magpie memories, I imagine @pigeonplumtree
Good to know he and dog have a roof over their heads. Rock band eh........ I would buy a ticket. : )
There is a Bunny Mooning cartoon from 1937...
@pigeonplumtree lol, at least I get to wear a hat. And it's not even Ascot.
Just a quick hello here ! In and out of the threads these days ! Had today " off " from the day job / but instead I need to work tomorrow !!!
Truly hate working on a weekend .... but periodically / it comes up .... Usually a Saturday / once overy two months or so ... so it's not too bad !
BUT !!! Tomorrow is MY Saturday to work / so have already started whining about it ! ...... MOM !!!! I DON'T WANNA GO !!!
It won't help .... but one can try !
Nobody can save me ! :( ..... i'll live in the end !!!
Purell can save you.
I'm bunny sitting this weekend, while daughter is away. Means going to her place 3 times a day. Good excuse to do nothing. It's not like I have to walk him. I can sit and watch people from her upstairs window. She has a flat. Watching people shop keeps me occupied. It's a busy market town.
@pigeonplumtree She must feel safe to sleep out in the open like that.
I guess so. She tends to go all over, but she mainly stays by one bush and likes to sleep there. She looks like a puppy when she sleeps.
@pigeonplumtree . i hope missus bunrabbit has a safe place to birth...
me too, if she is el-prego. I've had baby bunnies in the yard before and they were all eaten by the magpies. It was sad to see the mommy come back and all here babies were gone.
Yesterday I went into the town to shop. And had someone drop dead right at my feet. You never think something like that will ever happen, but it does. Feeling shaky and really out of sorts today. Life's too short to be fake or waste time on things that don't matter.
Teddy- What? Did they have a heart attack? So sorry for them and for you to see that.
@Teddyrose54 . i'm sorry. how shocking. try to do something that connects you to life to get your mind off of it.
oh my stars. what happened?
@Lionfishvintage I don't know why he died. He didn't crumple to the ground. He fell like an oak tree. His head missed my feet by inches. I couldn't stop shaking. A lady run over, saying she was a nurse and to let her thro. She said he was gone. Someone called an ambulance. I had to go and sit in the cafe. It's so scary to think how fast it happened. One minute waiting for your bus , the next just gone. He was about 50 from the look of him. I can't get his face or the thud out of my mind.
