For the moment. We will be in the balmy 30s today and the even more balmy 40s tomorrow. I am about to go to the post office and mail some orders. They even shut down the postal service for a few days.

What are you up to this weekend?

Morning. Almost done doing a month's worth of laundry and hoping to do some tidying and perhaps work on something new or finish a piece I'm almost done with.

Using the cold & snow as a motivator to keep me from going out & buying any more yarn! I shall instead work on finishing the baskets of knits that just need a bit of something: ends sewn in, fringes added, a button sewn on. And while I'm doing that, I shall try to empty the DVR for new shows coming.

Good morning All!

It's sunny and I think it should go up to about 40 degrees here today.  Fog and chances of flooding are call for but I see none of that.  We are high and dry in my area - fortunate not to be affected by floods. I'll catch up on household chores and some bookwork this weekend, not going to strain myself.

Hope everyone is thawing out after the freeze and enjoying the weekend ahead.  Life is good :-)

Just finally stored Christmas decorations away. They have been sitting in totes for a month now and needed to go in the storage room. Laundry is being done and a trip to the grocery store is in order for the day because the fridge and pantry are empty. How's everyone else day?

My husband and I are babysitting for our almost 11 month old grandson today - what a treat! They don't live close by, so we haven't seen him since Christas Eve.  They grow up so fast!

There is a tropical storm here, it's raining cats and dogs. Just snuggling up in front of the TV all day. I haven't even gotten dressed and it's after

noon!

As a Massachusetts resident all my life, guess who is my team?  (hint:  we have the G.O.A.T.)

Went grocery shopping this AM.  Unbelievable!  There was not a parking space to be found.  Everyone is out shopping for fixings for the big game.

What a wonderful time to be a New England resident.  I know ... "you hate us 'cause you ain't us...".  That's just fine 🎉😃🎈🧨

A chilly afternoon here in Saint John, New Brunswick. Just in the past couple hours, a thin layer of snow has covered everything. We're probably staying in for the remainder of the afternoon, but if conditions are good for it we might continue the process of sourcing supplies for a new part of my studio. That's exciting to anticipate.

I've done some writing today and also finished a bracelet. I've backed away from listing items here since midway through the forum migration, but might start again this weekend... I'd love to see how these new bracelets specifically are received here on Etsy.

Attended my monthly art club meeting this morning. This 12x16 watercolor painting was the result. I'm calling it "Volcano Chain" ... am very happy, as normally I either do fine art photography or abstract acrylic.
