The pixels are the right size or amount but every attempt and the banner looks stretched.
See so many perfect banners that are not stretched looking.
Whats the best way to get the perfect shop banner?
I use Gimp which has a big learning curve but I would fix the problem by isolating the text and the flowers into three layers. Then I would scale the wood up vertically so that each board looks wider. Then put back the text and the flowers. I might rescale the flowers both horizontally and vertically. In gimp there is a little button which, once you click it, proportionally scales images vertically and horizontally. Have a look in your graphics progam for the ability to scale vertically and horizontally, proportionally, first, before touching anything. Also, your banner boards arn't horizontal.

Here's a link to a YouTube Video that I use when I do a banner. it uses ipiccy
When I first opened my shop I used one of those free online banner making sites. There are also many branding and banner shops here on Etsy. I actually had Pearls Digital Design to do my second shop and a guy from Belgium do my Christmas banner. The pricing varied from shop to shop, so shopping around is a must!

If it is something simple, I can help you. What size banner are you wanting, the Big or Mini? If you want me to take a look, feel free to send the image to me via convo. It might be a simple sizing issue.

I made mine using Bannerfans a few years ago, it was free and easy to do, (and I'm not at all tech savvy).
Best wishes,
