Getting spammed through Notifications

Wow, a whole new low!

I've been spammed twice by the same nitwit using the @symbol so it shows up in my notifications.

I've reported it, not that it's going to do any good.  It's just a new way to annoy the crap out of people using the forums.  Nice!

Annoying. I had someone send me an IG message yesterday saying they loved seeing my posts and wanted to share how I can gain more followers yada yada. I looked at their page and they weren't following me.

i thought the whole idea of the @ thing was to let a person on a crowded forum know who you were posting to and that was all it was for. wow... can you report spammers? i saw a spammer just started 2 duplicate threads on the main forums tonight too. i wonder if the ptb will remove them. how desperate can these marketers be getting? geesh.

This is really pissing me off - I cannot reply to the spammer in her post or report it to admins. 

It's ridiculous and giving me yet another reason to avoid this Etsy 'community' altogether.

You can report it...just click the gray arrow at the top right of the post message (report inappropriate content).

These people are brilliant, lol.  My spammer has the number 9 at the end of her name, my guess is she has been shut down 8 times and is making the rounds as E**J******9.  No doubt version 10 is about to be born to start the whole cycle over again.

I'm surprised anyone would waste time doing this as it's definitely not a way to win friends and influence people - unless you're looking to boost your negative influence, then it's a home run.
