Frustrations signing into forums ?

After wasting too much time and much, much frustration, I finally gave in and am now signed in via Google Chrome.

I have been posting about this in bugs for a couple weeks with no reply from the powers that be.

I don't normally use GC but 2 other people said it's the only way to get in.

Please pass this on to help other people so they can avoid the irritation of it all.

And, oddly enough, I had to sign in through Firefox the other day because I couldn't get in with Chrome.  I never have a problem with the Etsy site, it's just this new forum I have trouble with.  Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries to get in. >:-(

lubuntu linux can only run a fake version of chrome, which my comp. won't run so it's firefox or nothing for me... i am keeping tabs open for hours and refreshing them periodically. i have one of team page, one on notifications page, and one on forums page.

since these posts don't nest correctly 99 percent of the time i have to just keep checking, checking, checking... like dorry only not in the ocean. ;)

Hi Lionfish.  Yeah, sounds like it's hit and miss for almost any of them.

I've only ever found upload image when replying to someone. But to upload a gif ( I use Giphy dot com) you just copy and paste.

@Artbesico. thanks. watercolor. it was the week of katrina. the aceo art group was having a monthly topic thing. the letter was t. i made several but that one was two fishes.

i never sold art online. last time i sold art was a crafts fair in 1985. i sold some christmas cards. and i was terrible, because i priced them according to how i felt when i made them. so there was no consistency in prices, lol. i made just enough to cover the cost of the booth that day. plus i was performing in the community chorale that night so i was there from morning to midnight. after that i have given my art to friends only and now 99 percent of my art is digital because my coordination is not really there for 2d art or doll repair, miniature making, or any of that, just taking pics and using linux' version of ms paint called kolour paint to make art anymore. sigh.

so i'll post a piece of my art here and there and tell people to keep it if they like it. :)

I’m on GC and it’s hit and miss. Sometimes I click and I’m in, sometimes it spins and spins and won’t work. 

I tend to have better luck on my phone than on my desktop. But not always.

I hope you don’t mind me asking, but is it just me, or when you are on your phone and hit reply, does the whole screen shift? Then I have to scroll and try to find where the text box is.

Mine doesn't shift but that might be because I access the forum directly through my phone's browser rather than through the app.

Yes I’m in the browser too. It just shifted twice on me right now trying to comment. Ugh!

That happens to me too, but not all the time. Usually when I “@“ someone.

Today I have trouble refreshing the page when in GC so went back to  Firefox and now back to GC. I freakin give up!

The ability to get into the forums has been completely hit or miss for me. Especially if I want to sign in... it just will not load 1/2 the time. I seriously think it is either a bug, or some site issue at lithium. Today I felt like, “why even have a forum” because you can’t log in! I’m on Safari. Not that it seems to make a difference as it looks like people are having issues no matter what browser they are using. 

It’s annoying. These forums are glitchy.
