Hello everyone! I just got home from a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. I think I deserve a sale for braving that place on a Saturday night, don't you think? Luckily I took a preventative Excedrin migraine and brought my Nook.

I got a sale during dinner which was a nice surprise :) We had a spicy potato, kale and sausage soup, roasted asparagus and I'm making giant chocolate chip cookies now. Mmmm.
I'm glad I went to the party despite the torturous noise. My son was the only child who showed up for the party. The mother invited the entire class plus other kids, and I'm the only one who came. Luckily, the little girl didn't seem to mind as long as she had her "boyfriend" - my son.
Aww, bummer that other kids didn't show. I'm glad the little girl had a good time though and that you came so she could celebrate w/ her boy friend :) ha ha. My 4 yr old son got 'married' in preschool a few weeks ago. Kids are so cute.
My son is only 8 and in 2nd grade. They just send notes back and forth with hearts and "I love you". Chuck E. Cheese now has this wind tunnel called the Tunnel of Tickets. The birthday child gets to bring a friend in to make a wild grab for tickets. There's one worth 1,000 tickets. That was pretty fun to watch. The screeching kids and fight out in the parking lot - not so much.
we love bbt, justified, castle, mike & molly, ncis & los angeles, rob, mentalist, in plain sight is coming back on in a few weeks, i love csi and criminal minds too.
