Not much on it yet, but it's all good fun.

Hubby is in bed again, getting over the flu, and I am trying to finish this big blanket. It's 50" x 40" and so far I have done 50" x 21" so over half way...must think positive!!

Off to bed in a minute I think...had some lovely pancakes today and took a couple round to my mum when I put out her bins. In the end I only managed to get one for myself, so next year i'm going to make more batter.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's been diddled out of their fair share of pancakes. I made the same amount of batter as I did when there were four of us at home. I had one after dinner and went back for one later and they were all gone. OH had scoffed the lot!
Tomorrow I might make more when he's in work!!

It was almost foggy when i woke up Cat, don't know what it intends to do today!

The lady who ordered the large blanket has now changed her mind!!! Trust me to start it before she had paid, but she said she needed it quickly :( :( Just going to put that one down to experience I'm afraid.....

Anyway, hubby still ill in bed and I'm not feeling 100% so I'm going to get my chores done, sort out some clean night clothes for him (he's sweating terribly and I need to keep changing the bed sheets too!!)...then I'm going to sit down and complete an order for another owl hat. When that's done I'm going to start another hat to list :)

Sorry to hear about the blanket Kim. Hopefully the yarn can be put to good use. Hopefully hubby will be better soon too.
And Laura's friend's baby is absolutely adorable. So photogenic!

Sadly, there were no pancakes for us. We were clean out of eggs and neither of my sons wanted to volunteer to walk the few hundred yards to the nearest shop. Their loss! Mind you, we do have pancakes here on a regular basis.They are a great form of cheap 'ballast' for growing lads!

Love the Cymru Pinterest board Cat. A great idea. I don't use Pinterest at the moment but will need to have a good browse soon.

I have just been out taking photos for etsy in the back yard. I had hoped the rain would hold off but it's starting to drizzle. I just hope I don't have lots of tiny drizzle spots in the photos. Sometimes you can't tell until you edit the images. Aaaagh!!

Congrats on the sales Sarah-Jane. Etsy seems dead at the moment. I just wish they'd hurry up and finish tinkering with whatever it is that they are currently tinkering with. It looks as though they may be overhauling the relevancy 'algorithm' again. Let's hope it doesn't make us all irrelevant.

Yep life on etsy is very very quiet at the moment! So I'm putting more effort into Folksy, see if I can get more sales on there. Although mostly I'm just trying to keep going the museum has turned into a full time job at the moment, which is tiring but great fun so I really shouldn't complain, I'm just trying to make sure I don't let things slide here!

That sucks about the blanket Kim, I've had a few similar things but my smart boyrfriend has always made sure I'm paid before I start unless if its resellable anyway. I still have a reserved listing up for a guy that we emailed back and forth for ages and he wanted a long chain and he never got back to me after I listed it! The chain was going to cost me a fair bit and then I had to make half of it and luckily I never ordered it. I've left the listing up in case he ever comes back.

Hope you'rs hubby is better soon, sick men are no fun!

Iv been geting a fair bit of interest in the real world for my fabric birds so hope that they can take off as it will really work well doing these alongside my illustrations.. so if anyone feels like following me on pinterest too that would be good.. ill follow back! It happens all the time here Kim, people ordering & never to be heard from again, from craft fairs, online sales it never ends but I just think that it will find a good home somewhere in the end or I will rework it a little, I hope you all feel better soon as well x

It's the big 6 nations clash this weekend. Most people will be glued to their TVs. The weather has been miserable. The south east of England have issued drought warnings. It always rains here when the word drought is mentioned!

Morning! Back from researching in the Midlands- back to rain!
I'm bit down that etsy activity so low- I've not had any views in my shop for 2 days. But we did get a sale - the first one for our wood4tt shop so just packing that now- a little mumbles salt shaker.
Sorry to hear the lady changedher mind on the blanket- its a pain!
Pinterest sounds and looks good. They sent me passwords etc but I can't seem to get the account started- it keeps asking me to connec through facebook- am I being thick? I can't make it work!

Brilliant about the Sale Gayle (that rhymed...he.he) No I haven't been drinking, I'm just trying to keep positive today!

Sales have been slower this month, I'm putting a lot of it down to half-term, but maybe it's just a February thing, don't know because this is our first February on ETSY.

Anyway, will go and take hubby some more squash and then I'm going to make up a big fruit salad to tempt him with (his appetite has gone I'm afraid).
