Thank you all for all the love! I am a "newbie" on Etsy, and have been on the site for almost two months now. Still trying to learn the whole SEO and get my shop noticed and get more sales through. My first items should be showing up to their destination any day now so looking forward to positive reviews to help my ranking stats.
Thank you for the photography feedback as I have been unsure how it is viewed from others. I have mixed feedback saying less props and others commenting how pretty the pictures are.
I work full time, 15/16 hr days, 5 days a week but have been home for a couple weeks which has given me time to post listings, and promote like crazy. This is something I would love to do full time, so I will work as hard at it as I do my regular job.
I love making treasuries!!

Michelle if there's one thing I've learned on Etsy it's that you have to do what you think is best for your shop. Regardless of what other people suggest...you'll never be able to make EVERYONE happy and the most important thing is that you are happy. Personally, I love the photos...I love the props and think they arent overwhelming at all. But there are people who say just a white background is best. It's all personal preference :) I think you are doing great for being so new!! You are definitely headed in the right direction :)

Your shop looks great! I think your pictures are great. They really showcase the teacups. I do not think the backgrounds are too busy at all.

Welcome to Etsy and to this team. You will find much support and encouragement here. I LOVE your pictures. While many times a plain white background is appropriate, I believe your backgrounds are so beautiful and really relevant to what you are selling.

When you list an item, you might do a second photo with just the plain white background too but I personally would make the listing photo w/the background.
