Re: Ugh! First neutral feedback

Oh arse :-/ I got one in my first shop here years ago, but that was about the shipping and I couldn't do anything about it. Some people just don't read the fine print. Hopefully they get back to you soon!

Re: Ugh! First neutral feedback

I just got one, as well. My first. Strange thing is that this customer bought 4 bags (all the same but different fabric). She left positive feedback for one of them, neutral for one and nothing or the other, two. I am bummed that she wasn't 100% pleased, but confused as well. I always want my customers to love their items, as we all do, I'm sure. :(

Re: Ugh! First neutral feedback

We just got one as well... not happy with the paper quality, even though it was in the description. Ohs well. Not much we can do about that one so onwards and upwards.

Re: Ugh! First neutral feedback

Some people are never happy and when they aren't, they don't tell you why. I hate that. Sorry to hear about your 1st neutral feedback. Keep confident in your service and products! I'm sure this won't keep anyone from buying, you have enough positives to cancel the one neutral out.

Re: Ugh! First neutral feedback

I dont know what the heck is going on but since that one posted, I have had NOT ONE inquiry (most of my orders are custom and therefore people convo me first) and only two tiny sales on one off items. I dont know if its Halloween, Frankenstorm or bad juju. Stressing me out. I was selling like gangbusters and thought for sure that this was going to be a record month and then all of the sudden, from one day to the next, NOT ONE CONVO! Etsy was no help and while I know other shops are getting through I am freaking out. Seriously. What the heck is going on!?

On another note, I just found out yesterday that a Craft Fair in my town (that is HUGE) that I was waitlisted for has a spot for me. Crazy suds flying here tryikng to get ready. Ugh

Re: Ugh! First neutral feedback

Luckily I haven't have a neutral or a negative (yet) comment.
I know I will be devastated if I got either. It's because it's your own work and it's personal. Negative/neutral feedback with no comment must be like a kick in the teeth.

Re: Ugh! First neutral feedback

I have just received my first neutral feedback, too. Although a comment was left with it, I am really disheartened that the buyer didn't message me to discuss the issue before leaving the feedback. To me, the feedback should also be based on how the shop/seller 'deals' with an issue. -The whole selling/buying experience. The buyer left as a comment that the item broke as she took it out of the packaging, but I feel this was partly out of my control, as I don't know if she ignored my advice on how to open the packaging safely to avoid damaging a delicate item. Also, had she contacted me when this happened, I would have happily refunded the £1.00 the ring cost, or sent a replacement, or given her advice on fixing it. -Which ever she may have found more useful. I also state in my policies about how every item currently for sale has been put through numerous tests to ensure durability.
-If a buyer broke/damaged an item due to ignoring the instructions I give about how to treat the jewellery, and then left the negative/neutral feedback, It really is out of my control.
I am so customer-service orientated, I do everything in my power to deliver what buyers want. And most the time, actually at a loss of money.

*sigh* I guess getting a neutral/negative feedback does feel a bit of a kick in the teeth when it is handmade, and you value every sale and feedback you get.
I am so disheartened and now worrying for any other feedback.

Ok, little venting over :P
