Hectic! Settling in to the new house, finding Adam work (which thankfully was quick and pretty painless!) It's wonderful having support finally, the PND has really kicked in though so everyday's a struggle atm... but I'm trying to stay positive.

I have applied to sell on 'Not on the High Street.' It is a british online shop, and they are very exclusive. Apparently they reject 95% of applicants.

I feel quite nervous about it. There is a HUGE fee to pay, and they take 27% comission from each sale. They are so high because they do the marketing for you. The advertise on TV, have mags and newletters and are all over the internet.

If I get rejected, I can always re-apply. But I am feeling really nervous about it. I want to sell my decoupage items on there and keep my etsy shop open for all my other stuff.

I done my calculations and figured that I would have to sell all my wooden pieces at £40 each to make a reasonable profit. I think £40 is not a bad price for something handmade and unique. I am currently only planning to sell my wooden decoupage pieces on NOTHS. Hopefully they will notice that I would be the ONLY person on their site who does this.

That's a good idea, Katie Joy. It is great to not give up after the first time.

I'm now facing a new challenge: balancing work with World of Warcraft. The new WoW came out and I sincerely meant to not purchase it because I have 0 skill at handling my game time. My wonderful husband thoughtfully bought it because he knew I wanted it so badly (maybe I should be less vocal when I'm trying to resist!). So... we'll see. I lost two days to it so far but I think I will just say no more WoW until I finish the next bangle. And then a few hours... but I'm already itching for more... ahhhhh.....

No, I haven't. But still, I am so excited, my brother is buying it for me for my birthday, which is this Friday. But I won't get it till November, that's when it is realised in the uk. I am so excited. I shall have to put my shop in vacation mode! Haaaaaa
