Oh Katie I would mess with a pregnant Aussie. I hear they can be brutal!
I have to say I have this ...I dont know what to call it....about pregnant women. I just want to wrap them all in bubble wrap and order massages and lunch for them. Always have. Its a bit stronger since I have had my own kid but man i think they should just be treated with kid gloves. I am so excited about Kelly's Squish!
hahaha! Andi! lol I know what you mean! I just want to make sure they are sitting down with their feet up and give them lots of tea. Especially when they are really big!
If we are able to rant here, then let me say I am sooo fed up with taking pictures that suck! I'm trying to take pics of fabric and I think that it's actually one of the most difficult things I've tackled, well except for the blankets and towels that are made of fabric and I can't get the light right. I guess that says it all, I suck at photography! O.K. I'm finished for the moment.
Good God. The one custom order girl I have had trouble with has given me nothing but grief!
She sent me a message saying her bracelet had arrived, and it is gorgeous. However it falls right off her wrist! I told her I make all my bracelets the average wrist size which is 7 to 7.5 inches. And that her bracelet had a lobster clasp, why don't she attach the clasp to a link further in?
She hasn't replied yet.
Argh! if her wrists are so damn small, why didn't she tell me!?
This custom order has been such a flipping piss take.
1. she wants a custom charm bracelet made - agreed price of £15. 2. She likes the pictures, but wants more charms added. When tecnically it would cost more to buy it. 3. She takes over a week to respond to any of my messages. 4. She finally likes the bracelet. 5. She takes over 2 weeks to pay for it and questions the postage. 6. She receieves it and it doesn't fit. 7. I wants to slam head into a brick wall. 8. I really can't be arsed with her anymore.
This whole process of her asking for a custom order has been nearly 6 weeks. And it has been nothing but grief. God.
This is going to come across as incredibly mean but...
Those threads mentioned above, where they say "favorite or tweet or whatever" an item from the shop above you. I always end up with the shops that have items that are so ugly or bizarre that I would never, EVER buy from them! That's definitely a thread killer! lol
@ Marlene. I know how you feel, I am always changing my pictures. But after some advice I am more uniformed and I like my white lace background. I take all my pictures in natural light and brighten them in a picture editor programme.
I don't think your pictures are bad, but they are a little dark. Perhaps you can try brightening them in a programme?
I don't think anyone is truely satisfied with the pictures they take... I find it so hard at times to convey what they look like. To be honest all my jewellery look amazing in person. So hard to capture that in a photo.
She now wants to exchange the bracelet!!! I said no, she can send it back to me, I'll refund the postage and adjust the bracelet.
She came across so rude about it too in her message. She basically said it is my fault that the bracelet doesn't fit. Despite me stating that I make my bracelets the average size, of 7 -7.5 inches. Please tell me if you need it shorter of bigger.- to which she didn't answer. My mistake was assuming she was 7 inches.
Its ok Katie! Don't worry! It happens! Can I exchange it because I don't know how I would go about measuring it and I don't know how it would hang after it's been altered???? If I still do not like the way it sits, I don't want to have to keep returning it to ya again and again. Instead I'll just pick a pearl one with the silver rivets.. Are they elasticated and do they fit all? X
She wants to exchange the bracelet for a bracelet that costs more than the original... also she has opened a dispute against me on paypal, claiming the bracelet isn't correct to the description.
what a &^%$#! Just tell her to send the bracelet back and refund her money once you get it. Paypal will refund her anyway so try to get the bracelet back from her first! I'm sorry she is being a pain!
She wants to exchange now for a cheaper bracelet and I said yes, but I want the charm bracelet back. She seems reluctant to send me back the charm bracelet. How do I know she is trying to get that bracelet for free? At this rate, she'll have two bracelets at the cost of £14. That's ridiculous! She hasn't responded back to my latest message. So the waiting begins.
This is the last time I am ever going to deal with her again.
I'd be explaining to her that you'll refund the money once you receive the "faulty" product back and then she is free to purchase whatever the hell she wants. If she needs adjustments she needs to tell you before the item is shipped.
And then I'd ban the bitch from ever buying from you again!

Oh and I wouldn't pick a fight with me when I'm not pregnant, let alone when I am lol
Thats exactly what I am going to do. No refund until I receieve the bracelet back. She can buy from me one more time. Then I am having nothing to do with her! Argh!
Moan time. I have made two sales. Yay! One being an absolute stranger, yay! And one my sister, yay! But despite me telling my sister to buy from my online shop, as it helps with stats and can generate more sales for me, she hasn't. I am not complaining I haven't got a sale, it's that she ignored my plee for helping my stats.
And to make matters worse, she did this over the easter weekend, I was away and only found out today that she bought it. She left me a £20 note on the fridge and took the necklace. The whole time it has still been for sale on my shop. What if someone bought it from my shop!?
Just deactivated the listing - so wish it could count for a sale.
