Hi guys, I've only just recently opened my shop here at Etsy, and am only just starting to familiarise myself with comminity links / teams etc. So I thought I would joing here, and say a big warm hello to everyone. If anyone has any pointers, tips or commentary based on their own experience being sellers in fragrances (and related) here at Etsy, I'm all ears. My family and I are very new to online selling, and so far our shop here hasn't received any attention at all.. which we are finding a bit strange. Hi Everyone,  I make fine perfume (perfumer's alcohol-based) and perfume oils (oil-based), and wonder if anyone could to international shipping when it comes to perfume. Now I know that perfume is allowed to ship first class (the States), but that is all. The odd thing is so many people ship perfume internationally and not just perfume oil but also alcohol-based perfume, which to my knowledge is against the law. I tried to ship a perfume oil once internationally and was turned down by the post office. Even though I told him it does contain alcohol. Hi everybody. I am putting my shop on hold, due to lack of working space. Some of my materials are not being used and want to give it to someone that can use them. I have soy wax flakes for containers (1 or 2 bags), small gold tin cans, scent oils (might by old, but at least for experimentation), I have tea candle containers, wicks for tea candles and regular wicks. Have contacted fellow candlemakers if interested but no response. And this is for NYC area only as I have no mobility, has to be someone with a car for pick-up.
