Anyone else doing the Google Analytics Academy?

I got an email a week or so ago that GA was offering an online course. I signed up and have done half of the first lesson. So far it's more informational than a how to like I was expecting.

Is anyone else doing it too?

Hmm, haven't heard of this one.

Though it is just the first lesson. Maybe the next ones will provide more? I know with other learning course, the first lesson is usually the most "boring," if you will. Give it a couple more lesson then see what happens. =P

Totally. The videos are right on the cusp of valuable information and snooze fest. It seems like a good way to start out though. I have GA set up for etsy and my personal site but I don't really know how to use it. This course seems to be talking a lot about figuring out what your main objectives are and how you plan to acheive them, then deciding which GA tools will best measure the success.

Until now GA has been one of those business things I knew I should be using but didn't know how to make it work for me. We'll see where this goes after a few more lessons.

Hope it gets more interesting and helpful for you. I added it like a week ago and haven't really figured it out yet. I've never heard of the academy.
