Need a suggestion for using book covers.

I have a large box of beautiful book covers (dust jackets) from childrens picture book, many about 10-12" tall I would guess. They are made of a fairly heavy, glossy surfaced paper. They would be great framed for their artwork but I don't want to do that. I am trying to think of a way to recycle them into a craft item. Any suggestions?

Journals, wallets, small purses. You can sew through the dust covers so the options are many.

I just took apart this old book to make the covers for a new one.

A trinket box, like a cigar box? Just a thought...What about cutting them up in 1x1" use decoupage 'stuff' to protect and drill 2 holes on each side to make a 'link' bracelet. You could even embellish with glitter or just leave as is...could be kinda cool...but not in the shower...Good luck!

Oh...I hadn't thought about covering a box. I might try that. I just hate to cut them because they have such pretty illustrations!
