violation warnings that are incorrect on vintage items

Hi all- Two of my lisitings were incorrectly flagged as policy violations (they're not fake). I did file an appeal, and talked to representative about star seller (he said it was possible to earn badges again after 90s days) but now I'm terrified my entire shop will just get taken down for another random bot flaw and I'll lose over 500 listings and a 12 year old etsy shop with thousands of sales. the representative said the violation warnings never fall off and so i feel like i can't list anything at all.

I'm currently only on etsy, and I feel I should now cross list somewhere else (likely Ebay) just to make sure all of that work isn't lost.

has anyone been throught something like this and how was is resolved?

Should I just avoid listing designer or high end labels of any kind?

so frustrating when it feels like etsy is flooded with temu items.

What were the listings for, did you get an email saying the reason for the takedown was fake?  Were the items reinstated?

I did get an email, and yes it was saying they were counterfeit (one was a vintage burberry shirt, which has an S at the end) and I havent had any response from the email link etsy provides.

Did the email include contact details from Burberry?

There are counterfeit items out there (a LOT) and your item may have been one.

There are many, many, many counterfeits on Etsy and the company is trying to control them with bots. You may have been swept up in this effort.

Sewing pattern sellers are very reluctant to post designer patterns because we have been struggling with take downs as well.
