Hi, for a few weeks I've been unable to upload photos via the phone app (android 12) but now to add insult to injury I cannot load photos on the desktop site (operating iOS 12). I receive an error message telling me that the photos cannot load and this has been happening the last 4 days.
I've tried logging out and back in, both on the site and the computer, switching back to the old version (where the upload just hangs) and drag and dropping the photo into the listing as well as uploading via the 'add' button.
Has anyone found a solution?
Thank you

Re: uploading photos error
Could be because you have not updated your operating system on your desktop. You should be using a 13.xxx version (Ventura)

Re: uploading photos error
Thank you. I will check whether an update is required, it's currently 12.3 Monterey. It hasn't been a problem until a few days ago but perhaps it is now the issue.

Re: uploading photos error
desktop running iOS 12 - that sounds more like an iPhone operating system version #.
I've had intermittent problems with Etsy on my desktop computer ... I clear the cache, remove all cookies, reboot, make sure my systems are up-to-date (Edge, Google, etc.). One of those, always the last one I try, fixes the problem.
I've also had problems uploading pictures that are too big ... although now a message pops up when that's the case.
And sometimes, picture uploading is slow. I suspect it's either my internet service but it could also mean that Etsy or the internet in general is busy.

Re: uploading photos error
I am having the same issue on my Android. Etsy is aware there is an issue. I chatted with two different reps a few days apart. I was told to try to force a stop on the app, uninstall & reload the app or use the web browser until the problem is resolved. I tried all those things, and still not able to upload photos. Every once and awhile I can upload one photo, but then I get the same ol' error message. I have used my phone for years to upload photos, and all of a sudden this happens. Frustrating to say the least.

@MichelesAttic: What happens if you try to upload the photos using your mobile browser?

Re: uploading photos error
@BagmakerSupply, I uninstalled the Etsy app completely on my phone (since I kept getting diverted to the app when going to www.etsy.com) and just used the website to conduct my business. It's been frustrating since I know we are all trying to get holiday merchandise listed & can't to it efficiently.

Re: uploading photos error
Well, are the powers that be gonna do something about it or just let us flounder? Would really like to get seasonal items loaded.

Re: uploading photos error
Yes, that would be nice eh? Keep the momentum for sales especially during the sale and running up to Christmas.

Re: uploading photos error
I am also experiencing this using the app on my iPhone. Have not been able to upload photos for a week or so. Uploading progress remains at 0%.
For me the workaround has been using the browser, still on phone. Photos are slow, but they usually do load eventually.

Re: uploading photos error
This is a problem for me as well. Called Etsy last week. On the phone for over an hour, no results.
