it happens to me too.
one day.
i am expecting etsy to tell me...
to choose a category.
on ebay.
and sell it over there.
haha!
Same thing happened to me. I just ignored it.
That seems to be a valid category and it's relevant. Just leave it where it is. I think Etsy gets a bit mixed up sometimes and gives out erroneous info - it's probably automated somehow.
Oh yes, I'm sure it's automated. I just hope it does not mess up how visable the anklet is
Same thing happened to me. I had my item listed as Handbags and Purses - Coin Purses, and it was after all a Crocheted Coin Purse. I clicked on the Give Feedback tab. I told them what it was and told them they needed to send their bots to school and get an education. Lo, and behold it wasn't long and the notice was removed from my shop. Hope this helps!
Oh good they fixed that for you! Where is the give feedback tab? I'd love to give them some feedback on this

Typical Etsy! Now they have made it impossible to browse and select a category like in the old listing form, it can be very frustrating trying to select the appropriate category with certain antique and vintage items and the stupid offerings Etsy throws out, some completely unrelated.
@JonaraBluMauiJewlery We are getting the same warning in our new postings of gemstone cabochons, which are in the exact category and sub category they should be in. After months of fighting with the new form to get our gemstone cabochons moved from “Hand Picked” to the correct “Hand Made” category, they are now telling us our some of our items are in the wrong sub-category and our search visibility is at risk, whatever that means. I have posted in several other related threads about how we accidentally solved the Hand Made/Hand Picked highlight problem by finding the correct word sequence which was hidden in a bot generated drop down menu for sub-categories. The popup sub-category menu generated by the Etsy bots and the Etsy databases are a mess. For gemstones they have now mixed and matched attributes in two separate sections for Gemstones, changed only by the order of two word positions in each sub-category (gemstones and cabochons). and the new attributes in each sub-category do not fit exactly for either section. It is a database mess. For now we are ignoring the search risk warnings, because searches on Etsy could not get much worse, but probably will.
