technical problem

Jump to solution

I had a complaint about a product, but Etsy sent no email. I can only fix the problem if I have the contact information of the person who made the complaint. The answers support gives me have no connection with my situation. Can that email be resent to me? Or is there some other place I can find that email?

Also, is there a chat somewhere or a direct phone number to speak with a real person?

Thank you

How do you know you had a complaint? Did the buyer send you an Etsy message?

No. A message appeared at the top of the dashboard saying I had a complaint and an email will be sent. No email came

I have no information since I have no email. It may be an intellectual property complaint about one of my pictures because one of my listings was taken down. But I need the email to know for sure, and I can contact the person who made the complaint and fix it.

Sudoku is also a trademark violation:  https://trademarks.justia.com/779/34/sudoku-77934545.html

even though etsy says they send emails about infringement...

they do not always do that.

since you know the item that was taken down...

you should be able to know who owns the copyright or trademark of whatever you were selling.

That product had like 50 different elements from 50 different sources. It's impossible to know exactly what piece I didn't use correctly. I'm still learning and it's possible I will make mistakes. I do my best to fix them.

the e-mail comes from etsy legal

sometimes it goes to spam, and sometimes your e-mail provider blocks any e-mail tith "legaL" in the sendrers address.

If you have a dashboard notification, and a disabled listing, it's IP

you can look up some of the words, that could cause a problem, like sudoku in the trademark database, there will be the owner, and the legal representative information, and can contract them that way
