tech problems listing an item

when I try to list an item it is stuck on catagory and won't proceed

Taking a positive attitude, maybe this means they are working on fixing the categories so we can choose from a drop-down list.  Let's hope.  Not good that the whole thing is messed up in the meantime, though.  But not surprising either.

In the meantime, can you use the overall listings menu to create your new listing by copy / editing a similar listing item that has the right category in it for you to utilize?  Keep us updated, in either case, you find a workaround or they end up fixing it and it somehow ends up working!  Thanks!

I have messaged Etsy twice as my new listing form has nowhere mentioning postage. Are they going to fix it soon. I am not able to list for days. Its very frustration.

@Pamelajonesartstudio: "... listing form has nowhere mentioning postage ..." Are you saying that you do not have a section called 'Shipping' on your listing form where you choose a shipping profile and add package dimensions and weight?

I am also having the same issue of not able to list new items in my shop.  This has been the 3rd day of not being able to list.  Hopefully, this issue will be resolved soon.
