WestfieldArt account There is no buttons to appeal on appeal page, I sent emails dispute-resolution@etsy.com to original Etsy email for appeal support+id17579450@etsy.zendesk.com also to support@etsy.zendesk.com
only reply i received :"This is not a monitored inbox."
My account suspended incorrectly :"We let you know on Sep 06, 2024 that your account was suspended. It looks like you didn't appeal your suspension within six months of this date, so your account is now permanently suspended." today is april 2025
absolutely incorrect , I have 5 emails sent to etsy rep with requested information ... I did nothing wrong -they doubt i make my items myself and i sent them video of process and other proof, please help to reinstate USA manufacturer account.
etsy even does not let Marina to place anything here on forum. Anybody can help ?
your shop does not appear to be suspended.
Her account WestfieldArt, we all here trying to help her
I have no idea who Marina is, but here are the instructions for filing an appeal - you must click "appeal" in this help center article - send emails is not the way to do it - https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/6298920789271-How-to-File-an-Appeal-for-a-Permanently-Suspen...
link is not working at all , there is no buttons to appeal or other links , it does not work for her at all. nobody answer emails also, using same email address that was answered before
If your shop was suspended, we/no one would be able to see your items...and as I see you currently have 664 listings, I do believe your shop is open....
account is WestfieldArt, we are all trying to help her , she blocked from placing anything to this forum , that is also strange
Unfortunately, if you are referencing another seller's shop for assistance, there is little fellow sellers can do when this is a matter between THAT seller and Etsy. That seller would have had to follow Etsy procedures...and if Etsy suspended The shop, then THAT is Etsy's decision and nothing we can do to change what Etsy chooses to do.... There is no recourse if Etsy's final decision is a suspension that can no longer be appealed. It is what it is.
Your shop is showing. Just one question why don't you have the hands showing on clock? I want to see what I am getting, your other photo could be w/o hands.
it started when etsy BOT found picture from her own account on amazon (also amazon listing was inactive anyway) but etsy started asking questions, she answered with requested video of the process of making questionable product, and after that nobody answered at all. after 2 weeks they closed her account with reason:"We let you know on Sep 06, 2024 that your account was suspended. It looks like you didn't appeal your suspension within six months of this date, so your account is now permanently suspended."
Why there is no respect for people making things by hands inside USA , I thought we finally found perfect marketplace , but no support at all. Anybody can help Westfield Art ?
her account is WestfieldArt, she is blocked away from forums and etsy marketplace
@handyctcom It clearly states in the help center, the seller has 6 months to appeal! Too late now.
I just perfectly explained that she has 5 emails during appeals , she also filed 3 times by clicking button on appeal page and status of appeal page was "in process" Last email with video of production was not answered and within 2 weeks account closed . It is absolutely incorrect that she did not appeal .
WestfieldArt has 2500 sales , do you think she did not appeal ? 100% she appealed 3-4 times and few emails I can see , also video of production shop etc....
I think this is the shop that @handyctcom is talking about:
https://www.etsy.com/shop/WestfieldArt
The feedback stars are less than 100 % on the main shop page; not sure if this was because the shop was closed and orders were not able to be fulfilled, or if there were complaints about the purchases.
I am sorry for your friend, but unfortunately, I don't have any helpful advice.
Does anyone know if there are other sellers who have gotten their shops re-opened after a 6 month or longer period, how they were able to do so?
You say the shop was notified on Sept 6 that it was being suspended. The subsequent notice says 6 months have gone by (that was 11 days ago BTW) and the rules specifically state if no appeal is made within 6 months, it is now permanent:
If you (or that account holder) sent emails asking why, that is not a formal appeal.
When a shop is suspended, you have to be very persistent about getting the problem fixed immediately, especially with stolen photos. If automated submissions are not working, the seller needs to contact Etsy other ways, and keep at it.
With more than 7 months having passed, WestfieldArt is going to have a hard time getting this fixed now. Public pressure on Etsy may help, or get a lawyer.
@handyctcom-- It does not matter whether you "correctly" appealed or not ... Etsy made their FINAL decision to close the shop anyway. I am sorry this happened, but there is nothing anyone here in the forums can do to help you. We are all bound by Etsy's Community Policy which is clearly stated here @ https://www.etsy.com/legal/community
Looking through photos found that appear to be her shop, it is possible that her work was found elsewhere. Her photos stolen and if she did not pursue a removal of her photos and then notify Etsy of such, then she lost one opportunity.
Did she have trouble with the button in the article? Did she try different devices? A browser would work better than the app.
Emails that were used are not looked at by Etsy. Contact has to be through Contact us. If the button was grayed out then cleaning out cache and cookies is one route. Not using a VPN another. Use a computer/laptop. Different browsers.
I'm sorry that this happened but it seems she has exceeded the deadline given by Etsy.
@ModAngie @ModJose @ModKenneth Would one of you be able to help? Thank you.
