The email was probably from a scammer. Scammers target new sellers. You have not received any orders. When you sell something it shows up on your Etsy dashboard, not random emails.
ohhhh now I understand , thank u for ur replay, thank u. its just make me feel excited when I soo order and thought it is ok:)
@AbleSpirit Since your shop is new and unfinished, you are a prime target for scammers. Finish your shop.
whats the means of finishing my shop? can u explain it for me plz
Sorry, that's almost certainly a scammer.
Genuine messages from Etsy will appear in the 'From Etsy' folder as well as the main message inbox. If a buyer is asking you to confirm or verify something by clicking a link then it's a scam. Report it or mark as SPAM (depending on which system you are using).
its just when u see an gmail coming from Etsy and show u that a buyer need to confirm I thought their is still hope that someone think to buy :)), thank u for replies
Spam. NEVER EVER EVER click on an email link! If Etsy sent it, you can find it in your Etsy account messages. God forbid that link took (or takes) you to a site that infects your PC.
thank u for ur reply , i will be more careful
