Star Seller Badge Removed due to multiple spam messages

good afternoon, can you please reinstate my star badge, I received multiple messages from the same person and only responded to one, appears it may have been spam.

You could have either responded or put them in spam. If you want the star, you need to do what is necessary to get it.

You are not "contacting" Etsy here, If support sent you here it was because they knew Etsy wouldn't do anything about this.

The star seller rules have been clear for around 4 years now.
ANY new messages you have to reply within 24 hours. It doesn't matter if that person sent 1 new message or 100 new messages.
If it's spam, then mark as spam.

Etsy will not bend the rules for you and Etsy does not adjust the stars for star seller at all.

Set up the auto reply feature and you don’t have ever have to worry about missing a reply. Seller badge is solely yours responsibility if you want to obtain it. No one here can get it back for you.

Star Seller is automated, and no one can make changes or exceptions for you.  You either respond to each NEW message, or you mark them as Spam.  It's a very simple, binary system.  Each new message requires an action.  Etsy doesn't make exceptions for seller error.

If you mean multiple new threads, then keep in mind that the Star Seller metric is that the FIRST Message of a EVERY NEW incoming thread must be replied to (or marked as spam) within 24 hours. It does not matter who sent it, the subject matter, if it is a duplicate or blank or anything else. Subsequent new Messages in the same thread do not affect customer service or Star Seller stats. You can check this by looking at the applicable CSV file available on your Customer Service page to confirm which new threads have negatively impacted your stats.

"... can you please reinstate my star badge ..." Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy moderators do sometimes read and reply to posts). Unfortunately, Etsy has made it clear that they will not manually adjust Star Seller data and based on your post there is no incorrect data to fix.

And if you want to continue being a star seller, you might want to note a registration number for permission to use the name Richardson. Richardson Sports is trademarked. Or just omit the name altogether.
