my shop stats not updating again

wish it was sleep time where I am at the moment

As mentioned before, etsy has only had the site for 19 years.  I guess it takes time to iron out the glitches, lol.

They don't really work on the weekends, not the way you'd expect them to.

Now if the site went totally offline, that would generate some sense of urgency.

Stats being down is not an emergency in their eyes.

No stats cause its the weekend, meaning Etsy elves have weekends off. And that's when things sometimes go haywire.

It's the "too many cooks in the kitchen" syndrome.

Meaning that there are far too many separate departments constantly tinkering with the site, with no real inter-communication between them, and programmers being given free rein to code whatever they feel like, all in the name of "testing". Which, unsurprisingly, causes things to break, aka "the soup is spoiled because 10 cooks added salt to the pot".

In light of this it's a wonder, actually, that the site works as well as it does.

It's weird but today's stats have not been updated. It's now 11.00am GMT +1 and I've got 14 favourites and no views. Wonder if this has to do with the new updates (and complete fall off of sales). Something is rotten in the state of Denmark!
