Has there been a change on how soon a review can be posted after an item has been shipped?  It used to be that a review could not be left before the estimated delivery date estimate. If a negative review about non-delivery is left on a Sunday, 2 days after purchase of an item, it seems to me there is a problem with the system that allows this.  In the past, I have been denied the ability to leave a review when I received an item very quickly, sooner than estimated delivery.

@JMOldeVintage   Thank you for this.  Again, I am on the same page as you.  Up to now, if I ship on a Thursday or Friday, Saturday, Etsy has shown me a ship by date of either 3 days from time of purchase, or "next week" on my shipping dashboard, not including weekend days.  I have also never seen Sunday as an estimated delivery, and this is why I am so confused and concerned because I have never seen Etsy using weekends included, but only business days.  Etsy seems clear that estimate for delivery is processing time + shipping service time, so if my processing time is 1-3 days + shipping time of 1 -3 days, than I can see why someone would think that a shipment across several states or the whole USA would be 2 days for receipt of order, but that is not realistic expectations and is wrong to make it appear that way to the buyer.  I will not change my processing time for no reason, and it might also possibly hurt my placement in search if I were to do so..  I am guessing that my issue here with Etsy giving a Sunday estimate for delivery is a fluke of some kind, but I am concerned that this is another test of some kind, and this is the worst time of year for testing out this type of thing.

@BagmakerSupply  yes, exactly, and that appears to be part of what the issue is because I am in San Diego on the West coast.  The time frame in the tracking updates does not match up at all, with tracking showing the order made a day after I had already packed it and printed out the shipping labels.  How can an order be placed after the post office already received the shipping information?  I have two different dates shown on the tracking for both the order date, and the shipping date.  Something is messed up.

@BagmakerSupply  I want to thank you again for mentioning the issue with the time zones.  I do ship from far west Pacific time zone, and I ship late in the day because my post office is a regional hub and packages still ship out to destinations as late as 8 PM.  That time zone thing really is the only thing that made sense to me.  The item in question was delivered to the buyer this afternoon, a day after it was marked as delivered yesterday, which was a Sunday.  What I learned from this is that if an item is marked as "Delivered to an agent", there is no recourse to being able to ask for a tracking update, or any further comments or help from USPS.  For the USPS when something is marked delivered, case is closed, even though delivery is to an "agent" of some type.  So the second issue was that an item was marked as delivered when it clearly was not.   Luckily the order arrived for the buyer today.  It was shipped Friday, and arrived today.  The buyer was gracious and changed the star rating, and redacted the statement on the review that the order was never received.  I will probably have to ship any Friday orders at noon from now on to avoid this conflict and mis-understanding from Etsy buyers who think Etsy works like Amazon, and you get same or next day shipping.

@Sassydoggs: An additional "problem" that you experienced is another user interface glitch (or perhaps it is intentional): Let's say that you receive an order and it says "Estimated delivery: Dec 8-16". The order is delivered on the 11th and that same line magically changes to "Estimated delivery: Dec 11". Confusing at best, deceptive at worst.

@CraftyCornishMaids  this was not about a current sale, but one from last week that had  been showing an expected delivery date of Sunday the 4th.  I thought that might have been the problem but it turned out that the problem was the delivery postal worker who fraudulently entered a delivery scan, which showed the order was delivered to the buyer only 2 days after purchase.  A review was left claiming never received.  The buyer was confused, and so was I.  I do not know if that delivery person also altered the expected delivery date as well, but I have never seen a Sunday delivery date given.  All is well,  and the package was delivered today, which would have been the correct earliest delivery date.  The buyer is relieved, and she upgraded the negative review and removed the non delivery comment.  Thank you for trying to help.
