shop announcement disappeared

whats going on etsy?    First I can't renew my listings and now my shop announcement has disappeared!

It's a test I think. It's still there just moved down the page. 

I'm not in the test so I see your announcement up top where it usually is.

Shop announcements are now at the bottom of the page, in between listings & reviews

Only if you are in the test I think. I'm still seeing everyone's announcements up top where they usually are.

HI Everyone, why would Etsy move Shop "announcements" to the BOTTOM of the page???  It is a foolish place to put it, You're right, DianesDecoupage!!

Etsy loves to "change" things for the sake of change...they've been doing it for at least 15 years(I was a seller with 2 other shops back about 2009) and Etsy was always changing things around for no reason... other than I guess it gave them something to do...

Mine went to bottom of page a long time ago and I do not like it at all! Please change it backto top Etsy! It is hurting my sales!

Why, why, why, would anyone place an announcement at the bottom of the page? What is the purpose of an announcement? To get people's attention, as to announce! And it needs to be the first thing that the people see! Hopefully Etsy will put the announcement back at the top of the page where it belongs!

Mine have moved down the page, too. Not great as the "announcements" will be overlooked more easily there.

Yes, I have the same problem.  The Etsy staff reports that they are doing "tests" to supposedly see what works for something or other.  I think the only tests they are doing is testing the patience of their sellers.  I never saw an "announcement" of their test which put my announcement at the bottom of my store page where no one would ever see it.  I think that on the great curve of business cycles, Etsy has tipped over the top and is probably headed down.  I believe the reason is that it is now so very difficult to communicate with them and it so often seems like it's them against us.  I think they have lost touch with the people who are supporting them and they don't care.  Sound familiar?

I am so upset abou this! It is affecting my sales and I cannot understand why!!!, Please Etsy, put them back to the top of page! How can my customers see when I have new announcements!? This is so unfair to do this without asking first. Not one custpmer will see our announcements this way. I would think Etsy would want us to push sales to make more money and this is hurting sales, not helping!

I think is the dumbest thing they have done in a while. I agree with everyone, why on earth would an announcement be where NO ONE LOOKS! I have to have my license number on my main page and my licenser is gonna have a fit I am sure when they can't find it! Grrrrrr!

Just coming by to express that I strongly dislike this change too!  Why would we ever "announce" something from the bottom of the page??
