how do you deduct the shipping cost. this is my first sell, and prior to this sell i offered a promo code ie that was supposed to knock the shipping cost off
You charge what you need to ship and the buyer pays that amount. Then Etsy pays you, less fees, and you buy a mailing label wherever you want.
Go to the order, click the 3 dots, choose refund and input the amount you want to deduct.
You must use a browser to give a partial refund.
