shipping nightmares

 I've had to cancel two shipping labels due to Canadapost strike , I have shipped these items out via UPS but can not update the tracking numbers in Etsy so the items still show as "pre transit" I have already had multiple discussions with my customers, they are aware the items are on their way and have the new tracking info but with items lingering in "pre transit" my shop will be negatively impacted and Etsy will scold me via email saying "you are not meeting our standards" I tried to use the Help/chat feature and was told to edit it beside the tracking info (there is no option where they told me to look) they then said it was because it had been more than three days, which now that I've sought help yes... but that option was not there the day prior either, I looked everywhere and clicked on every conceivable link to no avail.

Even before that items were successfully shipped I had huge issues with the ship by date. Buyers had both selected the free "standard shipping" option from Canada to the US, they were due to ship on Nov 25th and 29th respectively. However when  I tried to ship on Nov 19th with already updgraded shipping I received the "items may arrive late"  message, it claimed the buyers expected it between Nov 22 and XXX. I'm not sure how an item can be expected a week before it is due to ship.

the other ongoing problem with shipping is perhaps due to me being in a different timezone than Etsy. I will have a "ship by tomorrow" item when I start working at about 5am and when I package it up and go to create a label that same afternoon it's already switched to "due to ship yesterday"

Twice this week I have used the help/chat feature and neither time were they able to help. I am simply told to post in the forum because it's a technical issue. In the meantime my shop will likely lose it's status and be shown to fewer people.  Etsy keeps increasing or adding new fees while actual help and services decline.
