I hand delivered a sale to a local customer and marked it as personally delivered, but I still lost my Star Seller rating.   That's not right.

Not right? Maybe.

That's certainly not the way I would do it, but that's the way Etsy does it.

Etsy has always been quite clear that hand-delivery doesn't count towards Star Seller.  Sorry.

It specifically addresses local pickup and delivery:

What if I offer local pick-up or delivery for my items?

At this time, orders that don't have tracking because they are delivered or picked up in person will be considered shipped without tracking, and will not meet the Star Seller criteria for shipping.
