several of my listings are not indexed

I just discovered that approx 18 of my listings are not indexed - they don't appear when I search within my own shop or in the general search. I have contacted Etsy and there's a wait time of 1-2 days for a response. Is there anything I can do to address this problem in the mean time? I'm feeling very frustrated, as several of these items are things I thought would sell quickly, but instead I've renewed them multiple times due to their poor performance, suggesting that they've never been indexed.

There has been a problem with Etsy shadow banning certain words. That's something you could check.

sexy is a naughty word.

but you can use the f word and show up in search.

Update: I removed the word 'sexy' from the affected listings and that seems to have solved the problem. I've been selling here for YEARS and I never knew this was a problematic descriptor - it's very frustrating that Etsy hasn't been more straightforward about this.

It's absolutely nuts when you consider that the site is full of F-bomb listings (and much worse), with the word PROUDLY displayed on the first thumbnail pic that shoppers see.

i kept the word *sexy* in my sexy teacher sticker listing.

anyone can see that if you search for *teacher* in my shop... the sticker will not appear.

if you search for *sexy teacher*  it does appear.

if you search for *sexy* it also appears.

but not for *teacher*

and it makes zero sense.

I'm having the same problem with one of my listings. It doesn't show up in search within my shop. I've checked every word. I'm still working on it.
