selecting [VIEW] an item does not lead directly to an item
When I am visiting another shop and click [view] to view an item, instead of going directly to an item, Etsy precedes the listing I have chosen with links to several other items from other shops. Etsy titles this diversion, "Revisit your recent finds."
As a potential buyer, I find this distracting.
As a shop owner, I find it annoying and counterproductive. If a potential customer wants to view one of my items, I do not want Etsy interrupting the flow by saying, in effect, "Hey, why not take a look at these other things first." What is Etsy thinking?

haven't seen that yet, but if I did I'd be super annoyed.
I return to specific shops because I've had positive experiences with them. I don't want to be taken somewhere else.

@TheWoodenFly - I'm not seeing this (at least when I'm signed in) but yes, it's probably another Etsy test.
From Saturday, another thread on another probable test:
Out of curiosity, are these items you've carted? items you've saved for later? items you've favorited? or items you have simply clicked on to see all the listing details?

Re: selecting [VIEW] an item does not lead directly to an item
Now I know why the number of views never matches which items were viewed. Very frustrating. That info is important to me so I know which items buyers are interested in.
