what is wrong with the restock request. i still get it but doesn't tell me which option was picked. like if i am sold out of two or three items
Well, technically there is nothing wrong with the restock request. It has always worked as you have described.
Whether this is how it should have been programmed to work or not is a different issue. Seems a bit neglectful for Etsy to not have corrected this issue for so long now. If they could program the whole star seller thing and tweak it, they are certainly capable of fixing this issue. They obviously don't care to for some reason.
It hasn't always worked that way...it broke some months ago and Etsy still hasn't fixed it. Prior to that, I used to be able to see which variant a customer wanted, and now, if multiple variants are sold out, I have to guess.
I keep putting it on every single survey I fill out for Etsy. No matter what the survey is about, I'm like, "Fix the broken restock request issue!!!"
Hopefully at some point they will fix it. Though at this point, I'm probably just going to discontinue my Etsy Plus subscription until the matter is fixed
It's been broken in multiple ways since last November. I have tons of restock requests but can't see my SKU's that I need to specifically fulfill. It worked fine prior to November and has been broken since. I've filed multiple tech requests for a fix, nothing has moved forward. The only thing I've been able to effectively do is request a refund of my Etsy plus subscription for that timeframe due to the broken nature of the Restock Requests.
