I have not been able to renew any listing for a week now. Is anyone else having this issue. I contacted Etsy several days ago and they referred this issue to their tech department. I am so frustrated as this is my slow time and now an item I sell several times per week can not be listed.Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mary
Hello, everyone! We appreciate your reports and feedback. In case you missed it, last Friday we shared an update about the new listing form outlining improvements we’re making before it officially launches on June 25.
Once again, we appreciate your patience as we make necessary updates to the listing experience. Keep an eye on this thread for further updates. Thank you!

I just did it yesterday using the Etsy app
Thank you so much for mentioning that. My two best selling items were sold out and the support people couldn't change the quantity either.
Is this being addressed before new form is required? I know this has been a problem in the past. We only have a week left before new form is required, and it still seems to have glitches! I tried to renew yesterday, and this morning!
Etsy knows the new form doesn't work but is retiring the old form nonetheless! You have until 26th so I would use the old one for now.
@Redpeonycreations I was unable to renew a sold out listing yesterday using the new form. I contacted Chat support and they told me to use the old form. No idea if Etsy will have this fixed by the 25th
Workaround - that works for some - use the grey gear icon to renew (from the Listings Manager thumbnail) - then edit your active listing.

After much hassle I was able to renew a listing with a quantity change too, but this is getting really, really old! Why in the world would Etsy retire something that works flawlessly for something that is a no go and utter trash! Inquiring minds would like to know. Is it that they don't really care? It's not a question of having patience. I was not able to even get to the old form.
I relisted an item just to see if I could.
I just wanted to add--it is in their own best interest to get this fixed because if they don't THEY themselves will be out of business. IF no one can list or renew then within 4 months there will be nothing at all listed on Etsy. I simply do not understand this.
Oct, 2024 Listing with 2 items are not being auto renewed. I am now required to delete the sold item, reword the description and title, add the (1) quantity of the remaining piece and manually relist it. Customers question where did the other item go so they could have bought both at once. I feel like I am passing the buck saying it's Etsy to our customers. The customer only sees me or my listing that behaves oddly. What am I doing wrong if it's me?
Still no shipping charge preview either....really hoping these new form issues get resolved prior to the old form going away.
The only way I can renew a sold out listing is using the app.
I just had the same issue and used the old version and it worked.
I've had nothing but issues for the past week and seeing many complaints. Don't you love how Etsy auto chooses a solution for you that basically says nothing?
Definitely still having this issue as of 6-27-24. Big glitch. I got the listing renewed, but not sure how I did it.
Today is July 13th. I tried to renew an old listing that I sold. I have another, so I tried to renew with changes and it wouldn't let me. I used to be able to renew old listings with changes using the old form. The new form doesn't appear to work to do so. Using Safari desktop.
I relisted 2 expired and 1 sold out listing today and had no problem whatsoever. Using Firefox on a PC, win10
@santashauntedboot Hi, Did you try Renew Sold through the Listings Page? Then edit the listing. Or Renew Sold through the Sold Orders Page (the gear to the Right of the photo). Then edit the listing.
It's important to be able to keep your "crawlers" on the Renew Sold Listing (No. of Sales, Favs, Reviews, etc.). That's the whole point of Renew Sold.
I hope this helps you in some way. It bugs me to hear Sellers are still having trouble with the New Listing Form. Especially since the Old Form is no longer an option.
This listing I'm attempting to renew was Sold Out, not expired. It wouldn't let me renew with saved changes.
I tried to renew sold out listing through the orders page to keep number of favs, etc.
I added new pics and edited the description. (Same item, different damage.)
Never had any issues using the old form. But now I'm unable to do so.
@santashauntedboot Pardon in advance if I'm misunderstanding. When you went to the Listings Page, did you first tell the listing to "Renew Sold". Then make the edits. Or did you click onto a listing, make edits first, then say "Renew Sold"?
I'm wondering something else. Tell the listing to "Renew Sold". Then if it does, Deactivate it, then make your edits and Reactivate it.
I hope this will help. You're right, with the Old Listing Form we didn't have this problem.
Also, I just I read the article posted from Etsy about finding this issue a month ago. It said it should've been fixed within a week....
That was a month ago. Oh boy..
@santashauntedboot I was having the same problems as the OP 3 weeks and over ago. Finaly found some work arounds, some would work one time and others the next time. I often have another item ready to go soon after one sells so use the renew sold listings a lot. Part of the time lately can renew and make changes at the same time. When the new from totally rolled out I was having to renew and then go in and make any changes and it was working and did save all the number of prior sales, etc.
I did contact "Help" back a the time and person that called me back gave me several things to try. Tried with her on the phone and she finally said she would escalate it. Took a few days for someone else to get back to me and they gave me some more things to try. By then I had figured out the work arounds. I did have another problem with the new form and emailed the person that responded back. It again took a few days for a new response, but they went into detail how to fix the problem I was having.
If you are still having a problem I would go to "Help" and keep trying there till you get the option for a call back. It usually takes trying some different things, but it eventually came up.
