Hello,
I'm a seller from the UK and one of my customers from France has informed me that they are seeing an error message in my listings. I'm not sure what has caused this error. I've tried re-activating the listings and re-uploading the product images, but there seems no difference.
I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this issue and if there is any way to resolve it.
This is the affected listing: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1383649168
This is the link to my shop: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/nisuzcraftUK
Any suggestion would be much appreciated. Thank you!
@NisuzCraftUK: It probably has to do with the 150 euro rules for on line purchases from outside the European Union https://www.europe-consommateurs.eu/en/shopping-internet/purchases-and-vat.html
Some regions are strict about what can and cannot be imported into their countries.
Add proof of licensing to your shop.

yup the original price is over €150 so buyers in France won't be able to purchase.
I am in the EU and i can add your item to cart just fine. theres no law that says you cant buy anything above 150 eur from out of the eu
@LeatherForPet: I don't think that anyone said it is illegal, just that the French regulations can be onerous for non-EU retailers and platforms like Etsy and Amazon probably just don't want to deal with them. https://www.asendia.com/asendia-insights/french-vat-rules-cross-border-retailers
@LeatherForPet you're in Greece.
This is a specific piece of EU law France has decided to enact, where they require marketplaces to collect VAT and Duties on orders over €150. Which etsy can't do, and from other threads even Amazon aren't doing.
So, etsy and amazon simply restrict French buyers from purchasing listings over €150.
