I'm trying to list a digital item but keeps giving me the error message "Must be above minimum price". Any suggestions?
Update. Turns out this error was a bug that occured last night. I was originally listing my item for $5.62 but it was forcing me to list the item for $10.59. Any amount lower than that will give me the said error message. It has been fixed though and I hope this helps others who have encountered this as well.
What is the price you are trying to list at?
I am experiencing this as well, not sure how to get around it
Also unable to renew a sold out listing..
The days of 99c downloads are gone, the world has moved on. If you list an item it must be priced at least high enough to cover all the fees on the sale, as well as a margin for profit to make it worthwhile. For US sellers that is 9.5% plus 40c. (3% plus 20c for payment processing, 6.5% transaction fee plus 20c renewal sold fee). Anything under $1 is not a viable price, you are basically giving your work away. For every 100 $1 items you sell, you are going to pay half that in fees so you are barely making 50c per sale. If the system is telling you your price is too low, listen to that advice.
The minimum you can list an item for is .20 in the US. You will be paying more than that when it sells though.
