Why am I receiving messages, 2 of them in the last couple of days, that just say "Hello"????????? I marked it as Spam. What can I do to have these stopped?
I keep getting messages telling me to reply with the word Hello. Someone is messing with us and probably causing potential customers to be blocked as by the look of it they are using shop members somehow which is why you are getting sent messages with Hello.

You can't, unless it is a customer who has a question, just keep sending it to spam

Scammers phishing.
Mark as spam.
A message that only has 'hello' in it is the start of a scam or spam. If you ask them if they have a question (which you should NOT do!!), their next message will be when the scam really begins.
This sounds like the spammers looking for a way around the recent restriction on adding an image to the first Message in a thread.
Etsy currently has the message system set up so that you have to accept the first message from a new communication before they can send you more messages (a bit like Facebook messenger). So the scammers will send a seemingly innocuous message first (e.g. Hello) to trick you into engaging with them. It's best to report these kind of messages.
