I received an email October 1st that I qualified for being a star seller for October but it isn't showing up on my page.

I see it for rave reviews and smooth shipping.

If you're not getting it for messages, make sure that you mark spam messages as spam.

It's too late.

Etsy has said they will not retroactively award the Star, even if you mark the missing message as spam.

Better luck next month.

Oh, and be aware that the Star can be permanently striped for breaking Etsy's Terms of Use.

Etsy incorrectly sent emails telling people they were Star Sellers for October when they weren't.

I received an email on 2 Oct saying I was a Star Seller, but then got a message in my seller dashboard this morning saying

"We sent you an October Star Seller email in error

We’re looking into this issue to make sure it doesn't happen again. You can check your current Star Seller progress in your dashboard."

(and if anyone is interested - I missed out on Star Seller because total sales in the last 3 months was just $4 below the threshold ;))
