photo linking glitch during listing

Hello everyone

So, after linking your pictures to color variations, after a couple of days they all got reset. So I`ve done 80 listings and their variations again and even changed my browser just in case and couple days later same problem. Color options are there but if you click on them, it doesnt work.

What is the solution for this and anybody else has the same problem?

seems to be another etsy GLITCH

this one appears and goes from time to time -ANNOYING thing they haven't under control

right now, there's even no possibility to link photos to variants in my item board or what ever this place is called

I've reported this 'glitch' (if it's the same one) repeatedly since 2020.

It happens when you do a bulk listings update - such as change the prices on a set of listings in one go - on listings with variations already linked to photos.

They eventually 'fixed' it when I told them how to replicate it after about a year. Then broke it again. Then fixed it. Then broke it again. Then fixed it. And now it's broken again.

Took about 3-4 attempts on 'support' chat for them to understand my latest attempt at reporting it. Then 3 weeks later I get an email from support asking me to "send a copy of the error message" and "go through this process of creating a draft listing".

After explaining again it was nothing to do with the listing form and there is no error message - and reminding them that I'd already explained it loads of times and surely my case history has copies of me reporting the same issue again and again - I eventually got another reply about 3 weeks after that saying they've noted the problem and will get round to it when they get round to it. So basically, bottom of the queue.

Just don't do ANY bulk edits if you have variations linked to photos on those listings without first doing a test on a couple.
