An item needs to be made by the seller unless it is a vintage item or a craft supply. Otherwise, it is not Etsy legal.
We are not allowed to buy a product and resell it unless it is a vintage item or crafting supply. It's irrelevant where the item is purchased as Etsy is a global site. These policies are for all sellers.
Etsy does allow sellers to pair with a printing partner to print their own unique designs.

Could it be because your handmade clocks are available by many other sellers? sellers will search, even more so when claims of handmade. Imagine if you bought something handmade and found the exact same products being sold by 10+ other sites? what would you do?

Reselling is specifically prohibited on Etsy. Recently Etsy has started focusing on items which are not Etsy legal to help their site. This may be an issue if these items are not handmade by you or vintage products? This is documented in the above article. The orders might also be canceled due to a variety of other reasons? Reselling items and names is not allowed on Etsy. One clock I looked at is at Walmart and all over Amazon. You have to be the maker / designer of your goods.
