missing the messages badge to be a star seller, Just received my badge for 5-star reviews, im lucky I did because there were some messages from Buyers needing help, but for almost 2 months now,45 depressing days, I CANT MESSAGE MY CLIENTS. this is so horrible as a new shop to not be able to speak with my clients, for the first time I'm opening a shop and people actually really enjoy my product, and all of the hard work I put into this is going to the garbage. losing motivation because of this so not uploading as many products, not being a star seller, contacting support 30 times to get the same not helpful response 

of "wait for our email", these things caused some real damage to my sales numbers, and I didn't even spam my clients!
even if I did this is not an appropriate punishment!

please, someone, help

@YuvalTumblerDesigns: "contacting support 30 times to get the same not helpful response" Often the first response you get from customer support is an automated reply meant to weed out the people who contact support over common issues that can be easily solved.

Every eMail from Etsy support should have a link something like "I Still Need Help". Click on that link in each reply from Etsy (or actually reply stating that you still need help) to keep the report alive otherwise Etsy will assume that it is resolved. You may have to do this innumerable times, before anything is done but do not give up. DO NOT open a new issue or contact Etsy multiple times about the same issue (doing so appears to close the one you already opened and puts the new one on the bottom of the pile).

When you opened, did you send messages to random people? There is a limit on how many people you can message. If you message people and they keep putting you in SPAM, your right to message get halted. Follow what BagmakerSupply said about responding to the email.

I did send some messages but only to my clients, maybe i sent like 5 of them only 2 messages, and the rest just7 one asking to leave a review if they enjoyed it, with a unique message everytime.. even if I didn't it's not a good reason for such a long ban on messaging! it's been almost 2 months..

It is illegal in most countries to contact customers without them initiating contact first.

If these customers bought something from you for example 2 months ago and then you contact them in the future with a message unrelated to their initial order it is called spamming.

If a customer has reported you for this, then this would explain the length of the ban.

Only Etsy can return your message privileges back to you and unfortunately there is no known time limit on this if ever.

@YuvalTumblerDesigns: Based on other posts, Etsy does not seem to view support requests based on user violations as a priority, and there does not appear to be a published time for how long messaging is muted and based on posts in this forum it can vary.

I see no badges at all on your shop so it's possible you did not meet the sales criteria in the first place. 

You don't need to ask customers to leave a review - Etsy already reminds them and I find it annoying when sellers ask. Many people don't want to leave a review for various reasons.

As for the messages - Etsy often blocks messaging if they think you are sending SPAM (unsolicited communications). I don't know how long the ban lasts but you do not get a reply from support you will need to wait until Etsy allows you to use the message system again.

I agree, it looks like the OP likely didn't meet the $300 minimum for the past 3 months.
