I will start by saying that I run a shop and am supposed to get emails for sale/orders here on Etsy.

issues like this should not be happening when my settings specify.

I would like to get this corrected however at the time I stopped getting emails for sales and messages was last year around this time of the year and I was somewhat critical of Etsy and and some of the things that were going on at the time so perhaps it is just coincidence of technical issues.

if that is the case then please correct and look into the issues Etsy.

yes done all that and does not work still not getting emails.

my spam folder is empty.

I have had other emails that have been marked as spam for years those emails are still received.

so the only reason I am not getting emails from etsy is because they are not sending em.

You are not contacting Etsy support here, you are speaking to your fellow sellers, we cant sort this for you .

I find it suspicious that when I stopped getting emails from etsy was at a time when I was publicly critical of them.

Do you use gmail, hotmail, yahoo, outlook, or another free email service?  Those can have problems receiving the messages.

@HephaestusForgeCraft: Presuming that the eMail was sent, many bad things can happen after the eMail has left Etsy's eMail server. Your eMail provider or Internet Service Provider or even a relaying server could be blocking the eMail in error and it never even makes it to your eMail client much less your SPAM or junk folder.

If you are not receiving any Etsy eMails, you may want to check that your eMail address is still confirmed. You can do that it your Account Settings.

Again presuming that the eMail was sent and depending on where in the process the eMail was blocked and who your eMail provider is, sometimes whitelisting the sending domain can help.

email address is confirmed still and I don't use any email forwarding services.

so if there is some kind of SMTP issues I would not be the only one and it would be a server wide issue affecting many people not just myself so it would be corrected or addressed rather quickly.

just curious, are you saying you are not receiving Etsy's emails or notifications on your mobile and desktop ?

I don't use mobile strictly desktop.

I find too many people my age glued to their phones and I don't wish to be the same.
