new returns policy

Hey everyone you might wanna check your returns policy update , etsy set all my policys on all listings to returns not accepted and before the update i accepted returns , seems they auto change them to no returns, good job i caught it , im guessing its a bug but i would check yours out

I'm still trying to understand what is all this about the new returns policy, I've held up renewing listings until I understand what it is. Last night when I was about to renew an expired listing, there was a note about the new returns policy setting and I didn't quite understand what it was saying so I stopped renewing. Just want to be sure before I make any changes.

Mine was basically the same except I did change the return within 30 days to 7 days.

I thought once you updated your return times in the policy settings you were done. I shortened my times. But now I see you still have to go to each item and apply it. It's all the way at the bottom of the listing, where you might miss it. Another thing like the auto-renew, put in the wrong place.

When I first saw it, my items had it down as "30 day returns" and it said it pulled from my policies (this is correct) Then suddenly, I noticed some of my items were showing as no returns - then all of them!  So weird.  So I've had to go through and change them all but guess I need to keep watch in case they change again.

It isn’t great especially with international sakes. Some of the detail can’t be seen unless the area in the listing is hovered over. But it is here and we are stuck with it. 

I found that the quickest way to verify that listings had the correct return/no return info was to work through them in bulk. I went to the listings page, selected each category, and then looked at the policy that had been applied. If the whole category was wrong I changed it, if it was right I moved on, if I scrolled through and something was wrong I changed just those listings. I think it took me about 2 hours including figuring out what it all meant to verify both of my shops and this one has over 1000 listings.
