hello,
a few hours ago, i already write a message here looking for help how to reactivate my shop
i got a few responses, thank you, and i made some corrections in my account settings, in the payment settings.
But still i see " Enroll in Etsy payments to reactivate your account".
Someone wrote me i will receive an email from a specialist team, who are working on my case.
i still didn t receive a mail.
Thank you!
Your shop is not suspended but on vacation mode.
It may take some time for the status of your account to change.
It may take some time for Etsy to get back with you ... they're not known for speedy responses to seller's support requests.
Make sure you're checking your spam and junk email for a response just in case the response ends up there.
If you have a ticket open, keep responding that you still need help.
And if you have the chat option, use that and mention that an Etsy person in the forums said that you could expect an email from a specialist team. Go back to that thread and get the name of that individual.
Good luck.
You mentioned "Someone wrote me i will receive an email from a specialist team, who are working on my case." how did they become in contact with you...meaning...did you contact Etsy support and an Etsy representative told you that? If so, it may just take some time for them to get back to you. I've read that some have waited days or even a week or two before they were able to get a response from Etsy. Be very careful about who is sending you messages. Scammers are known to pose as "Etsy help" or "Etsy" so that sellers can give them information and scam them. If the real Etsy sends you a message, it will be in your "From Etsy" folder of your messages in your shop manager. If you get a message about needing information about your account so it will not be suspended or something of that sort in your in box that is not from your "From Etsy" folder, reach out to Etsy support from you shop manager and do not click any links that you are not sure is from the real Etsy.
The OP started a thread this morning and an Etsy forum moderator told her that.
I've noticed that forum moderators seem to be doing that more lately. I think it's nice that they're paying attention and jumping in to help but I'd be a bit uneasy about counting on that as support - especially with no timeline on when to expect an email, from whom, no ticket open.
I know that opening multiple help requests is counterproductive ... but I'm not sure if a statement by a forum moderator counts as a help request in progress ... or what.
I'd be trying chat or being persistent with an actual help request.
And I think I'd start a forum thread about ... what happens when moderators promise an action in the forums?
You can no longer have PayPal. Israel has Etsy payments. You have to enroll in Etsy payments. This means Etsy has to send a deposit to your bank account for you to enter in order to verify.
If you changed your name or address since you originally opened, you may need to provide updated ID. Your bank account name must match the name your shop was started with and any legal tax information Etsy may need.
