You must go to help, there you will get the runaround, then someone will tell you to post your problem here then nothing will get fixed. I got dinged because I do not get my notifications so Etsy sent me a "test message" but I never received it so I could not respond!!! When I click on the message in the downloaded file it is from me to a customer also!
This is the "still need help" link that worked for me - in the past. Don't hold your breath that it'll work - but it can't hurt to try.

Scroll down the page till you find the words (link) that says "I still need help". When I clicked there, I got a chat window almost right away.
Also - if I understand correctly, if you get through via email, not chat, you should be sure to reply within that email (back and forth). Don't start a new convo/email or they'll treat it as if the previous problem was fixed.
Hopefully somebody else will have more pertinent links/info..
