I have been considered a "star seller" from day one. But with these new "guidelines" to make star seller more "achievable" I have somehow lost my status. It says my messaging dropped to 88%! It says I have two unanswered messages that I just can't seem to find or figure out. Super frustrated by this and can't seem to find any answers or help on the matter.
I feel what you are going through. Etsy has thrown in messages that are not even mine and after repeated attempts, wont fix it.
Download the CSV for messages. The link to every message is included so you can look at each message to see if any aren't yours. If any aren't yours you can etsy the exact link to the message.
Download the CSV for messages and see which 2 they are talking about then mark them as spam and your rating will go back to 100% within 24 hours or so.
What Sunny said. The message csv file will tell you exactly which message and when they occurred.

Look at the last review period to see what is listed there.
if you download the csv that is along with your star seller feedback from etsy you can see the messages you didnt reply to within 24 hours as they have 'no' beside them. You can then search in your messages with the name given on the csv report and see what they are. I was marked down for not replying to spam and also where a couple of customers messaged me in two different threads, and, although i replied to them, as i didnt answer their same question in both their threads i was marked down!!!
It's all about the percentages. If you have received less messages in the time period and missed two, that might be just the percentage mark to lower your overall score.
